Eventide delivers with the SplitEQ a software plug-in of a different kind and helps you to process instruments, vocals and other audio signals optimally and to get the best out of them sonically. Be it "surgical" interventions, standard filters for low and high end or boosts respectively cuts of certain frequency ranges - with the parametric 8-band EQ you can handle pretty much anything.

"Dynamic" EQ

But what makes it so special? Eventide works here with the so-called Structural Split technology, which allows the user to process transients and tonals separately per band. In concept, besides its main function as an EQ, it also does the work of a transient designer - and that in the L/R and M/S stereo field. There is no compression in the classical sense, but thanks to the separate processing you can influence the dynamics!

Fine tuning & presets

Divided into two "temporal" phases, the processing can already start: You can decide at any time whether the interventions are amplified, lowered or distributed in the panorama globally or in eight areas independently of each other. The 14 available source algorithms (Full Mix, Kick, Snare, Percussion Set, Bass, Guitar, etc.) ensure the correct spectral distribution, while further fine adjustments can be made via "Separation", "Decay" and "Smooth". Naturally, presets also simplify your work: With over 150 presets, you can be inspired at any time or achieve professional results even under time pressure.

Something for the eye

Clear, simple, modern - the SplitEQ also convinces on a visual level, never looks cluttered and provides information and functions that you really need. Also on board is an analyzer that displays all changes in the input signal inconspicuously, but always clearly and accurately.

Practical "everyday features" such as Undo/Redo, A/B comparisons, setting reset and the scaling of the plug-in may not be missing, of course, and round off the future-oriented, innovative plug-in.
