The Victory Amplifiers V4 The Sheriff is based on the Sheriff 22 and Sheriff 44 amplifiers and brings the full British overdrive sound to any pedalboard. With an EC900 and three CV4014 tubes in the signal path, two channels of glorious Victory quality, deliver the Sheriff's full pallet of tone, from a light crunch to a ripped high gain. These two channels are complimented by a 3-band equalizer and a bright switch for treble boost or cut.
Amp Through mode allows the Victory V4 The Sheriff to be connected to conventional amplifiers with effects loops using the 4-wire method thanks to its separate FX loop connections. When connected this way, the Sheriff replaces the amp's preamplifier and drives the power amp directly, while the amp's preamp can be used again once the pedal is deactivated.
1960s/70s British Rock Sounds
The Victory V4 excels in producing the legendary Brit sound of the sixties and seventies. The first channel provides clear and dynamic cleans, ideal for pedalboards, while the Gain knob takes you to the classic breakup point. The second channel provides full gain reserves for hard rock to metal with distinctive mid-range aggression.
