Zoom 's R4 MultiTrak is a portable compact studio that supports 32-bit floating-point audio technology. This technology uses a double AD-converter circuit that makes clipping virtually impossible. So you can start recording right away without worrying about leveling or clipping.

The infinite bounce

With the R4, 4 tracks can be recorded simultaneously and edited and mixed using the internal tools. Afterwards they can be bounced to a separate "bounce track", freeing up recording tracks for further layers. In addition, the previously made bounce can be undone via the "undo" function, if you still want to edit the previous tracks.
