Flexible effects unit with CV control

With Warp, Soma Laboratory presents an intuitive multi effects unit with CV control. High quality 24 bit AD/DA converters with internal 32 bit processing ensure clean, uncolored sound reproduction with generous headroom.

The 15 algorithms cover a broad spectrum of spatial and creative effects, ranging from classic reverbs to granular and experimental processes with pitch shifting, reverse functions and micro loops. The selection is rounded out by a flanger, sample rate reduction, vintage band simulation, compressor, wavefolder, distortion and filter. All algorithms are highly versatile and work equally well in the studio on individual tracks or full mix signals, while also adding plenty of character and excitement to a DJ setup.

Effect selection is handled via up and down buttons, while an LED clearly indicates the currently active algorithm. Each effect offers four adjustable parameters plus a dedicated mix control. The real standout feature, however, is the extensive control voltage connectivity. Simply patch, for example, two clock synchronized LFOs with different speeds and waveforms from a Eurorack system into Warp, and the unit comes alive with expressive, dynamic and truly wild sound transformations.
