Bettermaker Mastering Limiter

The Bettermaker Mastering Limiter is a hybrid 2-channel Limiter with 3x functions that are essential for perfect mastering. It is a 100% analogue signal path, while a digital connection to the computer and thus your DAW is possible. So you can access any feature via the internal memory and a plug-in that can also take care of automation. Up to 399x pre-set positions are available, while the comfortable operation takes place via touch screen. In addition, it is possible to give your mix a special flavour: Use 2x Colour modules to add either even or odd harmonics. Both Colour sections can be edited internally with an EQ, so you can add more odd harmonics in the lower range to give the mix more bite. Furthermore, this Mastering Limiter offers intelligent or manual release times, the ability to disable the Clipping section to drive hot levels with other ADs, and the variable mix between limiting and clipping.

Analogue & Digital Sections
The Mastering Limiter has both an analogue and digital section, which have been developed with great consideration using high-quality capacitors and low-noise operational amplifiers to create the shortest path for the audio. The modules are configured using the Digital section of the Limiter.

The Limiter’s Digital section employs 2x fast 32-bit microcontrollers, with a special firmware programmed into their memory. From here control of the VCA Limiter, user interface, pre-sets, audio measurement, USB connectivity and other functions is made possible.

Front Panel & LCD Touch Screen
A large, clear LCD touch-screen allows control of the majority of functions possible in the unit. This includes input/output levels, gain and clipping parameters, advanced measurements (FFT, LUFS, K-Metering) and acess to the on-board keyboard. The analogue VU meters can also be adjusted from here.
