With the Santa Ana Overdrive V2, Fender presents the updated version of its versatile JFET overdrive, designed to capture the feel of a cranked-up Fender valve amp in pedal form. The Class A circuit operates internally at 18 volts, offering ample headroom, dynamic response and a natural tone. The Voice switch allows you to select between two distinct tone characters, ranging from transparent overdrive to rich lead tones with extended sustain. A new feature is a fully independent and switchable 3-band EQ with active bass, midrange and treble controls, which can be placed either before or after the overdrive circuit. Combined with the rear-panel ‘Tight’ switch, true or buffered bypass, and multi-switch-compatible footswitches, the Santa Ana Overdrive V2 is an extremely versatile soft-clipping pedal suitable for a wide range of genres.
