With the Taylor American Dream AD12e-SB, the traditional US manufacturer expands its American Dream series with another fabulous model. This series presents fully solid acoustic guitars at a unique price-performance ratio. Thanks to their terrific sound, pickup and fancy design, these attractive instruments fully take the stage for themselves. An added bonus is the included AeroCase.
The AD12e-SB owes its balanced sound to select tonewoods and its V-Class bracing. The in-house bracing and fully solid construction provide the necessary assertiveness and excellent sustain, which are essential for a convincing performance, due to their good vibration behaviour. The walnut body produces expressive basses and warm mids, which are extended by the spruce top and brilliant highs. This results in exactly the sound that is required for high authenticity and makes the instrument an absolute must-have for singer-songwriters.
The compact Grand Concert design is extremely grippy, while the mahogany neck with eucalyptus fingerboard fits comfortably in the hand. With a nut width of 44.4 mm, the guitar is just perfect for powerful strumming and delicate Flatpicking. Gripping is made much easier by a shortened scale length of 630 mm, which significantly reduces the amount of force required. Meanwhile, dot inlays on the fretboard are a useful orientation aid.
